Next Tuesday, November 12th, at 12:00 pm, the university community of the Polytechnic University of Valencia will gather at the Ágora on the Vera campus to honor and remember the victims and those affected by the DANA. This gathering, marking two weeks since the tragedy, will feature the participation of the Rector, Pepe Capilla, and the President of the Student Council, Javier Esquerdo, who will address a few words on behalf of the entire university community.
Given the current situation, in which students are following their classes online and there are mobility restrictions toward the campus, the event will be broadcast live on the university’s official Instagram account, allowing all community members to join the gathering, even remotely.
Additionally, on the Alcoy Campus, the gathering will be held in the Ferrándiz i Carbonell Square, and on the Gandia Campus, it will take place in front of the entrance to the Lecture Hall at the same time.
This tribute aims to be a moment of reflection and respect in memory of the victims and those affected by the devastating impact of the DANA. The entire university community is invited to participate, whether in person or through the online broadcast.
