The Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) continues its response efforts to address the effects of the DANA, with coordinated actions underway to support the needs of the university community and the affected surrounding areas. In a recent meeting of the advisory group, the progress made was reviewed, and new steps were planned to start next week, with the collaboration of volunteers and additional resources.
Among the agreed-upon measures, the UPV has launched a website as a one-stop portal to centralize all information, from access to support services to available resources. Additionally, space requests are being managed, and call rounds are being activated to identify specific needs within the community.
The university is also collaborating with the College of Architects in the assessment of affected housing and continues to adapt its actions to ensure the well-being and safety of its members and society during this critical time.
