The Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) has given new impetus to its recovery plan after the passage of DANA in a recent meeting of the advisory group, chaired by the Rector, José E. Capilla. During the meeting, the main ongoing actions were reviewed and new strategies were analyzed to support the university community and accelerate the return to normality.
The advisory group, made up of key members of the university, focused on assessing the situation of basic services and the priority needs of students and staff. Economic and logistical support measures were also reinforced, with emphasis on academic continuity and community well-being.
Among the topics addressed, the importance of maintaining hybrid teaching and coordinating resources with other institutions to facilitate transportation and temporary accommodation of those affected was highlighted. With these actions, the UPV reiterates its commitment to an effective recovery and in collaboration with the community and other organizations.
